.php files encrypted with IonCube

Start with your PHP file. If another file is needed, we'll show you what's missing. Maximum 10MB.

Only upload files you own, are authorized to analyze, or are lawfully permitted to recover, migrate, audit, or interoperate with. Do not upload third-party proprietary software without permission. This ordinary public preview does not use AI-assisted callback recovery; charged, trusted-account, and approved trusted-partner recovery may send supplied context and relevant decoded fragments to our configured third-party model provider. See Terms.

Online recovery for supported IonCube targets

IonCube's PHP encoder compiles PHP source into an encrypted bytecode blob that only the IonCube Loader can execute. That means if you lose the original source — the developer disappears, a migration goes wrong, or you need to audit a third-party plugin — you're stuck.

DecodePHP helps recover source for authorized maintenance work. We cover recognized IonCube 10 through 15 builds targeting PHP 5.0–5.6, 7.1–7.4, and 8.1–8.4. You upload from the browser and processing runs in an isolated server-side microVM. Eligible files get a free preview. A viewable account result uses one credit, including viewable partial callback output; an attempt with no viewable result does not.

Version coverage

IonCube maintains a versioned encoder series. Each version introduces new obfuscation tactics and bytecode formats. DecodePHP has decoding paths for recognized builds in these series:

  • IonCube 10 — the PHP 7 era baseline
  • IonCube 11–12 — PHP 7.x refinements
  • IonCube 13 — PHP 8-era encoder changes
  • IonCube 14 — PHP 8.2 / 8.3 compatibility
  • IonCube 15 — recognized PHP 8.4-targeting builds

PHP compatibility

Our decoder is built per-PHP-version. Each PHP release ships new Zend opcodes, so a decoder built for PHP 7.4 can't handle PHP 8.4 output and vice-versa. DecodePHP maintains dedicated paths for PHP 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, and 8.4.

IonCube 10–15

Support for recognized IonCube 10 through 15 builds across the listed PHP targets.

Supported PHP targets

Supported targets: PHP 5.0–5.6, 7.1–7.4, and 8.1–8.4. PHP 7.0 and 8.0 ionCube targets are not accepted.

Readable output

Recovered PHP is formatted for review where structure can be reconstructed; lint and test it before use.

Fast decoding

Routine files usually finish quickly. Uploads are limited to 10 MB; callback-key recovery can take several minutes.

100% online

Nothing to install locally. Uploads are processed server-side in isolated microVMs.

Frequently asked questions

What is an IonCube decoder?
An IonCube decoder reads IonCube-encoded PHP files — which contain compiled Zend bytecode — and attempts to recover readable PHP for authorized recovery, migration, audit, or interoperability work. DecodePHP accepts recognized versions 10 through 15 targeting PHP 5.0–5.6, 7.1–7.4, and 8.1–8.4.
How does DecodePHP's IonCube decoder work?
Upload your IonCube-encoded PHP file. Eligible files show the first 20 decoded lines at no cost; unresolved license, companion-file, or callback requirements return guidance. Use credits to run the full account decode and download a viewable result.
Is there a free IonCube decoder?
Eligible files can show the first 20 decoded lines at no cost. Files that need a license, companion file, or callback context return guidance. Full account decodes use credits from a one-time pack.
Which IonCube versions do you support?
The service accepts recognized IonCube 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15 builds on its supported PHP targets. Compatibility also depends on the build and any required license, companion file, or callback context.
Which PHP versions do you support?
PHP 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 8.1, 8.2, 8.3, and 8.4. Each PHP version has a dedicated decoder page with version-specific notes.
Is this better than easytoyou.eu or decodez.net?
DecodePHP ships modern IonCube 15 + PHP 8.4 support that many competitors lack, offers a web UI built in 2026 (not 2012), and provides an API for automation. Free preview lets you compare quality before paying.
Can I decode IonCube files in bulk?
Yes. Buy a pack with enough credits for the batch, or use the API for programmatic decoding. API access is included for every account.
Is my source code safe?
Files are processed in isolated microVMs and kept private. Free-preview payloads expire after the configured retention period; paid and allowance results remain in account history until deletion is requested.
