The IonCube Decoder Free Preview, Explained

Eligible IonCube files can show 20 decoded lines before payment. Here is what the preview verifies, and which protection requirements can block it.

For eligible supported files, DecodePHP lets you inspect the first 20 decoded lines before paying. Files with unresolved protection requirements return specific guidance instead.

What the free preview shows

When a recognized supported file completes the ordinary public preview without an unresolved protection requirement, you see:

  • The first 20 lines of decoded PHP, real output, not a placeholder.
  • The detected IonCube version (10, 11, 12, 13, 14, or 15).
  • The reported PHP target, when the header exposes enough metadata.
  • A sample you can inspect. It does not guarantee that later functions lack license, companion-file, or callback-key requirements.

The ordinary public preview needs no account or payment when the file is eligible.

Why we bother

You cannot judge recovery quality from a sales page. The preview lets you inspect a real sample from your own eligible file without spending a credit, while keeping the scope clear: it covers only the displayed lines.

What it doesn't show

Twenty lines can help you assess the visible sample. They cannot prove that the entire file will complete:

  • You can't rebuild an app from previews. 20 lines isn't functional code.
  • There's no scraping loophole. Free previews are rate-limited per IP per day.
  • The preview does not expose the full recovered file, later protected sections, or every runtime integration. Use a full result only for work you are authorized to do.

What does the full file cost?

Self-serve credit packs:

  • Starter, $19 for 3 credits.
  • Pro, $59 for 30 credits, good for developer batches.
  • Enterprise, $199 for 150 credits, good for teams and agencies.

If the preview fails

A preview can fail or need more input. Usual causes include:

  • The build or PHP target is not accepted.
  • The file requires an .icl license or project key.
  • A protection file is missing. Check the message for the required file and upload it from the same application.
  • It uses callback keys and needs the callback implementation or related runtime context.
  • It's an ancient IonCube version (older than 10) that we don't target.

Ordinary public previews stop with guidance for callback-key files and do not run AI-assisted recovery. Charged, trusted-account, or approved trusted-partner recovery can attempt that path; supplied context and relevant fragments may be sent to the configured model provider, and success is not guaranteed.
